The Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (MOMAF) and Tahir Foundation help the aquaculture farmers along Java’s northern coastal (Pantura) with Rp 31,1 billion grants. The grants are destined for those who suffer by the flood in the area of 68.377 in four provinces. MOMAF at the same time also contribute with Rp 11 billion.
The grant will be delivered by Tahir Foundation for five years worth Rp 20 billion a year so that the grant reaches Rp 100 billion. According to gatra.com, the grant aims to reestablish what was damaged by floods hit last month and to provide the tools, equipment as well as infrastructure ensuring the production and rehabilitation of the channel ponds on Java’s northern coastal (Pantura).
